Hi there!

I’m Quagg, and welcome to my TTRPG blog (or rather the start of it). I have little plans for it besides showcasing new homebrew or adventures I write, highlighting hobby things I like, and play-reports for me to look back at over time.

Background on me:

I’ve been a TTRPG enjoyer for about 8 years now, starting off with a wacky 2-year-long Mongoose Traveller 1E game that formed my basis of the hobby. I’ve since dabbled in a few systems - with a particular soft spot for one-pagers like Honey Heist/A Familiar Problem - and have landed at the BREAK!! system as my comfort choice.

BREAK!!’s versatility in throwing anything at it - theme, tones, mechanics - and it landing perfectly, alongside its community, have made me fall in love with it. I’ve been running a 2-year-long campaign in it, and have been playtesting many of the one-shots from my collection the past few months.

Besides that, I love building niche automated tools for the systems I play (perhaps evidenced by the pages on this website) and building integrations between open-source tools out there.

My BREAK!! Campaign:

Without blabbing too much, my longer BREAK!! campaign is set on a relatively small island called Skyray Isle within the Galvanus Archipelago - with a few larger settlements that exist but are mostly isolated from one another. It contains a mishmash of all biomes (desert to the north, jungle to the south, etc.) by means of a massive sheer cliff that sections the island in half. Its older inhabitants claim that the island itself used to be a massive flying, living machine of the 3rd Aeon Gleysian Empire and thus the cliff is its spine. No one can quite confirm that, though :)

It is currently in a state of chaos as the once-banished Idea of Thorns (from the amazing pointcrawl Garden of Ynn!) has made its way back into the world by hitchhiking on the party’s back. The party is, ah, trying their best to sort that all out.
